My stanine score was 7 which is above average.

I was 100% accurate with word recognition and sentence comprehension.

Here is my Term 4 writing test result.

I am working at Level 2a. That means I am working above my expected National Standard level in Writing.

I am doing well at using correct punctuation, sentence structure, correct structure and language, organising my ideas in the right order and using good vocabulary.

I have to work on my spelling.

Tautoro School.

I like Tautoro School. It’s the best school. 
I like Tautoro School because we can dance with Whaea Dorothy. We can also learn sport skills with Matua Matt. I learn lots of different skills with Matua Matt. We play different games like hockey, soccer, touch and rippa rugby. In Room 3 we can plant plants like carrots and beetroot and we always plant cabbage. 
We even read with Whaea Hilary. 
Sometimes when we finished our work we can play learning games on mangahigh and reading eggs. 
We can do our spelling test with Whaea Janet. 
We work hard and then we achieve our goals.

Market Day

In the afternoon me and my family went to market in Tautoro School. My friends came too. It was Penaia and Zion. We went to the Senior park. After that me and Penaia went to get some candy floss. I said, “That was yum.” Even Penaia liked it. Later on I went to buy me some tickets. I got 6 tickets 3 for me and 3 for Penaia. Next me and Penaia went to get a drink because we were thirsty. I got a Coca Cola one and Penaia wanted one to and there was only one more left so Penaia got it. It was $1. Me and Penaia saw Zion with candy floss. After that me and Penaia went to see how much a chocolate brownie was and it was $2. You couldn’t pay with tickets you had to have real money. So I got $2 for me. Penaia got two off his tickets and swapped them for $2 so we got a chocolate brownie. One was for me and the other one was for Penaia. I said, “Wait Penaia. It has peanuts in it.”

Penaia said, “No!” Then Penaia said, “Luckily

I could take the peanuts out.”

So then Penaia took the peanuts out and ate the chocolate. Me and Penaia said, “That was yum.” Then me and Penaia said we wanted to know how much the american hotdogs were. So we looked at the list where the food was and it said $4 and I got 4 tickets. I got 2 tickets  for me and 2 tickets for Penaia then Penaia asked his dad for 2 tickets so he gave 2 tickets to Penaia and Penaia gave me 1 ticket and he had another one for him. Finally I asked them if there was any American hot dogs and they said, “There are no more left and me and Penaia said, “Noo!” So I got a juicy and Penaia got an ice block. They were one ticket. All the classes were starting to pack up so Penaia’s dad said that Penaia had to go. So they went.

So then my brother’s were having a banana split and when they finished their banana split we went home.

In room three we started growing our plants because we were using the plants for our market so we can get some money so room three can have a fun day.

We know how to plant plants. you need the right temperature and fresh soil. another thing you need is fresh air and when you have all those things your seed will Germinate. Germinate means your plants are growing.

Were shocked because we did not know the plants will grow that big

From like two months or so ago.

All our plants are like $1 or 50c.

We are also selling slippers - I thought they were socks. Our teacher is selling her old clothes

and her old shoes too.

We had lots of plants like tomato carrot beetroot and pumpkin. We got out three tables and put all the plants from the green shed. After that i was exhausted! There was a lot of plants to bring over. I think we are going to get $200.

I think we should play sports every day.

Firstly why I think we should play sports everyday because you will get fit by running around.

Secondly why I think we should play sports everyday is so you can get lots of oxygen because you will be running around in the frish ear.

Another reason why I think we should play sports everyday because you will learn how to work as a team  because you will be sharing the ball.

Lastly why I think we should play sport everyday because you will have good skills like dribbling the ball and kicking the ball.

Going to the skate park

On a sunny Friday morning when me and my two brothers woke up from bed my mum said to me and my brothers, “Grab your scooters.” I grabbed my scooter and Tristan grabbed his bike and Chace grabbed his bike because his scooter was broken. My mum said, “Two bikes can't fit.” But Tristan wanted to bring his bike. My mum said, “Only one bike.” So Tristan put his scooter in the boot. We rushed as fast as a cheetah to town. We first went to get some chips and got some drinks. When we got there I saw VJ sitting on the chair beside his mum. I shouted, “VJ!” He jumped off his chair and ran to the car. When the car stopped he opened the door and I unbuckled my seat belt and bolted to the chair. VJ’s mum said, “Lunch time.” Me and my two brothers and my mum sat down to eat. VJ and his mum bought butter chicken pizza. I grabbed a piece and I bit it and I said, “The best bit was the chicken on top.” Next me and my brothers got our scooters out of the boot and Chace grabbed his bike. We  

rode around the skatepark. We were playing follow the leader. I thought it was really cool being at the skatepark.

I think we should do our homework every night.

Firstly why I think we should do our homework every night is so we can get smarter and we will be giving our brain a workout.

I have been practising my addition basic facts. I wanted to get faster and more accurate. When I started this week my top score was 37. Today l scored 55.  Here are my results. 

Recount writing At Home.

At Home 17/08/17 Yesterday my mum said to me that I had to have my pump because my breathing was not so good. Chace wasn't at school because he was sick. I walked over to my bag and opened it and did my homework so then the next day I could have my spelling test and get 100 percent. After that VJ came. His mum said that he couldn't come inside because his legs were dirty. Me and VJ were talking to each other out the window. VJ’s mum and my mum were talking. I told VJ about a game on my tablet called Craft Exploration Survival. VJ told me that he came first place in cross country. He ran with people the same age as him. Then VJ’s mum said they were going shopping. I said,”Bye VJ.” He said bye back to me. I said, “See you at school.” I asked my mum if I could charge my tablet for the weekend. I said to my mum, “Hey Mum, can I play on the laptop?” She said, “Yes but only for an hour and that is it.” So I got out the laptop and played hide online. I was pressing the buttons as fast as a jet. I could see the props and hunters. I like to be props because they always win. It felt amazing because I was playing my first favorite game on the laptop. So when I was props I was the mouse and went behind the desk and stayed there until it was finished. I was the only one left. When my hour was up I put the laptop away into the bag.

On a warm sunny Thursday me and Chace were at home because it was the school holidays. We were thinking about what we could do for the day. I thought that maybe we could play games on Dad’s playstation. We asked our dad if we could play on his playstation. He said, “Yes but only for an hour.” So me and Chace set up the playstation. I said to Chace, “What game are you going to play?” He said, “Ben ten.” I said, “I'm playing Transformers.” Chace said, “Who's going first?” I said, “Me.” So I put in my game and sat on the chair.  I started playing my game. When I was playing it I felt terrific because I was playing my favourite game. I was pressing the buttons as fast as a bird picking with its beak.

I was staring at the tv and when my term was up I put the controller down. My hands felt like they were burning.

I said,”That was super fun.”

When Chace was finished his turn me he packed the playstation away. Dad told us it was dinner time. I said, “Yum!”

On Sunday afternoon I went to the park with my family and the park was in Kaikohe.

I felt fantastic because I like going to the park.

When we got to the park we saw lots of people and lots of things to play on. I said, “Hmmm what should I play on first, maybe the swing?” I jumped on the the swing. I went as high as a bird. I felt amazing.

Next I went on the slide and I said, “Weee! I can go down fast. This is fun” I felt excellent

After that I went on the monkeybars. I felt like I was Tarzan. I was swinging and swinging.I felt terrific. Then we had to go home so we went in the car and drove home. What an awesome time at the park.

Recount Writing-Going to Kaikohe

I am learning to add details so my readers can understand my story.

Going to Kaikohe

On Friday morning my mum said we had to go to town.

Me and Chace bolted to the car. We opened the door and jumped into our seats. My mum was driving. We were going to Kaikohe to have lunch and look around in Kaikohe. We were going to 118 Broadway and Coin Save. When we got there we got out of the car and I dashed into 118 Broadway. The first thing I saw was little toy armies. I said to Chace, “Hey Chace look at this.” The next thing I saw was bubbles and then guns but they were fake. Another thing I saw was a Ben Ten chess game. After looking around for a little while we went in to Coin Save. Me and Chace looked at the toys. I saw lego Star Wars and I saw more bubbles.  Next we went to have lunch so me and Chace walked to the car and my mum drove to LJs. I felt joyful. I was having sushi. I had three and Chace had three. We both had chocolate shakes and Chace had chips. When we were finished eating. We walked out and I said, “Yummy.” We went in the car and drove home.

On a sunny Friday I went to Kmart with my family.

First in Kmart I looked at all of the shoes then I walked away from the shoes and looked at the lollies. I asked my mum if I could get some lollies and she said, “Yes.”

We said, “Thanks Mum.

Next I looked at a huge trampoline. It looked as big as four lions stacked on top of each other. After that I was looking at the balls. Then I looked at the clothes. I really liked the t shirts. Then I looked at the lego  and near the lego and I saw two robots. They looked cool because there was a blue robot and there was a red robot.

Later on my mum said we had to go so I bolted to my mum and we walked out to car.

I had a great time shopping with my family and I liked the lollies. They were sweet.

I think we  should have rules at school.

Playing on my tablet

On Sunday I was playing on my tablet because I was bored and I was playing a game called Pixel Gun 3D.

First on that game you have to shoot the players and you can get free gems. I was playing it with my two brothers. It was a good game especially when I was winning. I like winning games.

After that I was getting lots of coins and then my tablet was getting hot so I thought it was time to let it have a little rest.

I was waiting for it to cool down. While I was waiting for it to cool down I was having something to drink.
